States I've Been To Map

States I've been to map

Mark the US states you've visited and the counter shows how many you've been to: all 50 states are here, plus Washington, D.C. Alaska and Hawaii sit below the mainland, so the whole country fits on one screen.

How it works

1. Click the states you've been to on the map, or tick them in the list. Set a home if you like.
2. Group them into steps: by trip or by year. Each step gets its own color and label.
3. Press play to watch your travels unfold, or record the animation as a video.
4. Share the link, embed the map on your blog, or download it as a PNG or an HTML file.

Other maps

Switch to the world travel map, Europe, another continent, or the regions of a single country from the Map menu.

Questions

Is it free? Yes. There's no signup and no account: your map is saved in its link, so keep the link.

How do I count the states I've been to? Mark them on the map. The counter at the bottom and the chart in the corner show how many you've visited out of the total, and the percentage.

Can I show where I've lived, or where I want to go? Put those places in their own step, with a different color and label.
